Claims to being the best at anything are not to be taken lightly. Where ever consumers are subjected to any one of the many ways that the mass media bombards them, they are constantly told that this or that is “the best.” Making these kinds of claims can be especially hard on a company when they make these statements for themselves and certainly when the company involved is working in a competitive market like the one for cheap area rugs. Still, the smartest of these firms make no such claims at all and that’s the big reason that the people at Shaw have done so well for themselves-they let their cheap area rugs speak for themselves.
